As a co-founder of Inbound Monster I wanted to let you in on some of the reasons why we started Inbound Monster. Read below to find out why the monster started seeking more beds to hide under.
Before there was Inbound Monster…
We all were frustrated… Inbound Monster wasn’t our first rodeo, every team member has worked for various advertising agencies in the past. None of us were happy with our careers, we all wanted something better. Something we could be proud of, something worth working harder for and challenging. Inbound Monster was created by a TEAM and not a single person. Our primary goal is to create amazing inbound marketing strategies that build companies and get their message out. World domination through marketing might be nice as well.
Poor service for exaggerated prices
We all worked in an agency or on individual projects that just didn’t “work”. Either projects were sidelined due to incompetence or fell off track due to budgets/time. We wanted to fix this by offering better services, competitive prices and real expertise. We don’t oversell ourselves or promise the sun and want to grow your business with true and realistic marketing strategies, not a bunch of lies that pretend to rocket you to success. After all rockets start off in the right direction but are not sustainable and run out of fuel.
We wanted to build a great team
By creating a fantastic team of talented designers, developers, writers, strategists and freelancers we not only have a team that can market a company but do it the right way. Hire team members to fill specific gaps or expertise ranges gives us a unique advantage because each member can focus on specific areas and hone their skills. When team members where less hats, they can create better ideas/products.
The Traditional Advertising Model Sucked
The traditional “only for profit” project model leads to shortcuts and corner cutting… this is not how we want to run. We want to improve companies with real answers, not diluted plans that only increase our profit margins. The traditional agency gives you a quote for a project, tracks their time and HAS to come under the allotted hours. Employees are left under resourced, over worked and stressed due to time constraints. We wanted to remove the need for worry by creating sustainable marketing plans that are both project based and have long term strategies. This way we can focus up front on the big portions like website redesign, social media setup, print materials, then focus on creating great and attractive content.
We want to build a culture of trust
Our core team works from closely together to create and manage your marketing strategy. Without trust and understanding we can not effectively work well together let alone with a client. By trusting each team member to do their part we know our strengths and can grow. We want to enjoy what we do and challenge ourselves with every project, thus we also attract better talent because employees LOVE freedom and trust.
